Comment by Beatrice on February 23, 2012 at 3:13pm looking for some advice and hope you, guys attending the london show
can help me
i'll be flying to London Stansted airport - could you please advice me how to get to the Hammersmith Apollo. Easiest and cheapest is the best ;) Also how much time should it takes to get from the show.
Any advices on where to stay and dine would be perfect for a stranger like me :)
thanks in advance
Comment by Graeme Archer on February 27, 2012 at 9:39am Hello Beatrice,
The easiest way to get there would be to get the Stansted Express to Tottenham Hale, changing onto the Victoria Line to Kings Cross, then the Piccadilly Line to Hammersmith - that should take about an hour and-a-half. You might want to go to your hotel first! You can also get a bus from the airport but that will take AGES.
Any other route advice you need can be found here:
Comment by Beatrice on February 27, 2012 at 7:37pm so you mean i need a train (sic:) or subway?
thx a lot Graeme :)
Comment by Graeme Archer on February 28, 2012 at 4:15am Ha! The Stansted Express is an overground train (https://www.stanstedexpress.com/ - it's not cheap, but it is fast), the other two are on the Tube.
