I laughed...I cried...if I wasnt in love with this band before, how could I not be now?

These guys deserve every single bit of success, theyve clearly earned it. They are my favorite band, always have been, and always will be. I know they will never see this, Im not sure many people will read it at all, but Im putting out there what is in my heart tonight...I am so moved and impressed by a band that can get kicked down that many times and still come out on top...what an inspiration! Columbia records turned me down because of my weight, and I let it stop me from pursuing a career on stage, opting instead to get my teaching credentials and become an elementary school choir teacher. Thank you, Train, for showing me that you should never give up your dreams! I am recording my Bruises video this weekend, and when Train plays in Los Angeles on September 29th, I am driving all the way up there will nothing but LOVE and HOPE in my heart that they choose me to sing with Pat! What a dream-come-true that would be! I saved for 2 months for that $220 4th row ticket, and I am counting the days to see my favorite band live! I am so grateful to these awesome talented men for the lessons I learn from them, and I will forever be a devoted fan-not just because of the fantastic music, but also because of the message and the inspiration they give me every day <3 Thanks, Train!

Heather, I hope lots of people read your post.To see an example of someone who was changed by Trains music. I also loved Behind the Music's showing. It fills in so many questions I had. But you're right it was moving and inspiring most of all. I hope the band knows how many people they've inspired over the years and I hope they see your post. I think it's so wonderful that you've never given up on your dreams.Crossing my fingers that they choose you to sing. Keep the LOVE and HOPE in your heart always!

I could not agree more... TRAIN ROCKS!! KEEP GOING BOYS!!!!

I was very moved by the BTM episode.  Finally, some of the details I have always wondered about were revealed.  And the entire band seemed to be very sincere and humble in their recollections.  It was not always pretty or nice, but in the end, I feel that things may finally be getting resolved and aired out with all the ups and downs.

Was I the only one who sort of hoped that perhaps there may be a potential future collaboration with Rob and Charlie in the future?  Maybe more Charlie than Rob, but I seriously got the impression that some wounds have healed for the band and their past.

Loved that everyone got a lot of air time, and loved that Matt Nathanson was also included.  I knew they like each other, but never knew that they were close friends.  Nice to know. Love Matt too.

Here's to a great band surviving some touch times and coming back harder and stronger.

Ahhhhh I want to watch it!!! It's so not fair that you can't view it outside the US!! Is it possible for it be put on You Tube?? It sounds awesome!!

I have everything crossed for you Heather!! You go girl, do it for Train fans everywhere!! :)

Heather I agree with you totally. The hidden beauty of Train is that help people in so many ways by their lrics, music and the example they have struggled to become. As P'S MOM says "some day you will change the world."

I have a talented granddaughter fighting the battle of Oh No you can't be a talented great singer because you are not Heidi Klum. She auditioned for the Voice. Maybe you can try the next audition go arounds.

I am an agoraphobic partly due to gaining weight from medical conditions. I  would so go by myself by cab to a Train Concert if I had the money to buy a good ticket, I would not do it to be in a crowd on the grass behind 10,000 other people. When they were here at Ravinia in Evanston IL in August 2012, a good distance from me, the good tickets were almost 400.00 and the really good tickets are always gone before they are even on ticketmaster.

try behind the music .com on the internet, they may have it online.

The day that the episode aired on VH1 I had my DVR set to record it and wanted to watch it that night. However, as usual, life got in the way and I never got to watch it that night, week, and even month. Finally, almost a month after it aired, I had some time today and sat down and watched it...and I am so glad I did! The episode answered so many questions I had about Train and it was nice to get a peek into their lives off stage. I knew that Drops of Jupiter was written for Pat's mom but I now listen to that song in a much different way and it is truly a beautiful tribute! I just was so amazed at all of the struggle they had in the beginning and how far they have come as a band, and through it all they have remained so humble. I must say it makes me love them that much more. Thank you Pat, Jimmy, and Scott for sticking it out through all the hard times and continuing to do what you do! Looking forward to seeing you next weekend at the NYC Food and Wine Festival!

Hi Heather, can't believe I missed this thread you started. I was away at that time and without Net access for over a week. Hope you had the time of your life at the concert. Of course, I also hope you can tell us that you made it on stage but even if you didn't, I can tell that you will keep that same love for the band in your heart. I also think your choir students are very lucky to have you as their teacher. Really, I do and you know I mean that :-)

May your dreams come true.

Many people read your message, maybe even the Train members read these on their way to someplace else. When you put things out into the Universe, beautiful things always happen. That is what happened to Pat, after he lost his MOM, the pain seems to open the soul to search and be receptive. Pat could have shook off that dream and made a song about meatballs instead. Pat is open and receptive as are we who recognize it.

Beautiful message
