Oh!  I really hope this is a fluke and that it was just first night glitches and miscommunications.  I am going to do the Gold package at two shows (wasn't planning on two, but that's another story...lol) and will be SOOOO disappointed if it's a cattle call with absolutely no time to even speak to them and take a picture.  I've done meet and greets with other artists and while they have been more expensive than the one for Train, I actually got one on one time with the artist and got anything I wanted signed and had pictures taken with MY camera and theirs.   Fingers crossed that they get better as time goes on.  I can't imagine that the band wants people to walk away feeling that they've been gyped or cheated and that they misrepresented themselves and what the Gold package was, so hopefully they will see the constructive criticisms and make corrections to prevent this from happening again.

I have tickets for the M&G in Chicago next month.  If the M&G is as it was in Charlotte (from other posts), I will be terribly disappointed.  It's not like these boys to be rude to the fans regardless of how tired they were.

Pat, Jimmy, and Scott were NOT rude--their facilitator (Thomas) was the rude one.  The guys were nice and thanked us for coming to the concert.  But there was no "meet," and beyond thanking us, there was no "greet."  Some of the fault may have been with the venue, but when we did a meet & greet with Maroon 5 a year ago, their facilitator was awesome--met everybody at the box office and stayed with us the whole time.  We had a few minutes with the band, had an actual conversation, were also able to have an item autographed by the band, and I now have a piano book signed by all the Maroon 5 band members that I treasure.  Hopefully, things will improve with the Train M&G.

I have done 4 Meet & Greets, spent time on the cruise ship, as well as seen these guys in the street, bars, and just hanging out. They are never rude. Tom , their tour manager, is always pleasant.

He is a little high strung, maybe he had a bad day.

Overall, besides the Script, you are never going to meet more pleasant " rock stars."

We'll be at the Cleveland and Pittsburgh shows!!!!!  We saw you in Hershey, PA last year and you guys totally won my heart (and my husbands, too!)  I don't want to wish away my summer but your concerts can't come soon enough!!!!

For the M&G, very disappointed. I've done them at least twice before and had such a better experience in the past. There were probably 75-100 people doing the M&G this time. For the SMSF and For Me It's You tour, there was less than 20 people in the M&G. I got more than one item signed, had photo taken with my camera (which I then had immediately), and actually go to chat with the Pat, Jimmy, Scott for a few minutes. I did the M&G at Charlotte and it was like herding cattle. And that was finally after someone (venue or Train staff) got their act together and told us what was going on.

The show was beautiful. Pat sang with all his heart like he always does. If you haven't purchased a ticket, do purchase but don't opt for M&G.

I'm going to the Grand Prairie, TX concert on 9/15.  I'd love to see you perform "I Got You" and "Half Moon Bay."

my hubby and I are heading to see you on tour in Kansas city, on august 10th. we will be celebrating our 7th year wedding anniversary..I left the sf bay area of 2004, and never had the chance to see you guys on tour, I am so EXCITED!!! To me traveling tne 200 miles one way to see you... is so worth it!!!

Gonna be at the Pittsburgh Concert later this month. Woo hoo : ) )

Central Park and Monmouth University!!!!

Went to the Lincoln show this past Thursday and it ROCKED!!!  You will not be disappointed. Mat Kearney opened and he was great.  This is the first season for shows at the Pinewood Bowl -- Train was SOLD OUT of course.  I had to giggle thinking of the fellas getting ready for the show in the back stage "cabin" -- the same place I got ready before a production of "The Music Man" a million years ago.  I hope they had a positive experience and will come back soon!
