My favorite train song is Half moon bay! at least for now:) I swear it changes every single week! Last week it was To be loved <3 i still really like it!

My favorite song changes every week also. And I STILL love when Pat and Daryl Hall sang Wait For Me on Daryl's House. Amazing!! Today for some reason Shake Up Christmas is going through my head. It has been ALL day. Maybe that means I should get going on my Christmas shopping.  :)

My favorite Train song hands down is Drops of Jupiter.  There's not really a story behind why I like it I just fell in love with it the first time I heard it on the radio.  After finding out the meaning behind the song it just made me love it even more.  Meet Viriginia, Calling All Angels, When I Look to the Sky, Free, Hey Soul Sister, Brick by Brick, and This Ain't Goodbye are also among my most favorites although I don't think there's a single song they've ever made that I DON'T like.  To Be Loved and Brand New Book are also new favorites!

I'd have to say it's a tie between Drops of Jupiter and When I Look to the Sky.  Drops of Jupiter was the song that first got me into Train a few years ago and when I found out the meaning behind the song, it made me love it even more. But then again, whenever I listen to When I Look to the Sky, I can't help but smile :)

My favorite song off any album is "I Am".  It is really hard to pick though.  I also love Hopeless, IATCA, If You Leave, This Ain't Goodbye, Shelter Me.....the list goes on.

 

My favorite song to hear live is "Free".  I also love Flatfoot and Sweet Rain.

 

My favorite cover is "Give a little Bit" from the 4/8/04 Philly Show.  

 

My favorite demo is "Fine".  I can listened to that song over and over and over.....

On Save Me San Francisco its definitely Half Moon Bay. I aslo LOVELOVELOVE To Be Loved... I recently refound Get To Me and I'm just sorta kinda obsessed with it:)

Favorite cover would have to be 'ramble on' performed on the Howard Stern show...I think it was'02-'03!! Haven't heard it since but never have forgotten how awesome it was!!

Hey Amber.. Glad to link up with another TRAINIAC! My favorites are "I'm About to Come Alive" (My Private Nation, 2003) and 'I Am" (Train, 1998). Have you seen the video to "I'm About to Come Alive?" Awesome! Our guys need to retro- and make one for I Am (the one out is ok.. but it's just a picture of a hiker on a cliff. Maybe they could add to that, and show some more beautiful scenery...of this guy hiking through those mountains and all the beautiful things and creatures he encounters..) oh well, just a thought!

Yes i have seen it somewhere on youtube... But i cant remeber where! I think that it should have been on trains youtube but its not :( Agh do you have a link?

Soul Sister is my favorite. My son was singing some words and he was 4 years at the time. I asked him what he was singing and he sang a couple words. Not knowing the name, I just googled the words he said and came across Train. I listened to the song and my son was so excited! He said, that's it, that's the one! Now we listen to it all the time.

The song that I've listened to the greatest number of times by a landslide--thus making it my favorite song statistically--is "This Ain't Goodbye." It just speaks to me, y'know?

However, my favorite songs to listen to overall are probably "Hopeless" from Drops of Jupiter and "All I Ever Wanted" from For Me, It's You. For the life of me, I can't figure out why I love them so much. They're both terribly depressing, and listening to them just about rips out my heart--but, then, maybe that's why I adore them so much: they've got honest-to-goodness feeling in them.

I've never heard either of them live, but the Midnight Moon recording of "Hopeless" is absolutely soul-crushing, and this live recording of "All I Ever Wanted" from Train's 2009 performance in DC is utterly heartbreaking, so maybe I shouldn't hear either song live, anyway. I'd probably spontaneously combust or fall into pieces right there in the venue.
