Ummm, try not to be obssessive, that doesn't work... trust me :P. But, they normally answer stuff like that. If they don't, send them a direct message. Oh, Jimmy (@jammalama) normally answers so if you can't get through to them at the band file, tweet him. If that doesn't work... I'll try to help you...

From what I've seen posted on FB they are not doing them anymore. A couple was contacted that they were chosen then told they have decided to pull the weddings from the show because they were taking too much time.

Yeah, I heard about the whole wedding thing at the concert being pulled, but I'm just hoping to do a proposal there. Wouldn't take but a minute or two. So I hope it can happen. Would be cool to have Pat involved and then have the whole crowd cheer....super cool. My Jen would be totally surprised.

Any insider info on how to "get them in the mood" at the concert?
A buddy of mine is a local DJ here and said he is gonna try and get me hooked up with some good tickets so not exactly sure where I'm sitting yet.
Thanks for the heads up on the crowd walk through. Do you happen to know why Pat stopped?

Still trying to get in touch with the band about my proposal request. Sent a tweet to the band @train and to @jammalama
No response yet.
Any suggestions on how I can reach them?

I heard Pat stopped the walking through the crowd because it took away from one of their most beautiful songs.  He did that for the last 2 years and it was time for a change.  People were too concerned about where he was in the crowd not even paying attention to the song.  Also the event staff had to try to keep up with him the whole time for security reasons.  This year he just stands on the stage next to Jimmy playing the guitar and sings the whole song which makes a lot more sense to me.  It's easier to appreciate the song without everyone yelling and screaming and trying to jump over each other to get to Pat in the crowd.

Hey Brock, have you heard anything? It's been a month now.  I had the same thought for the Houston,TX (Woodlands,TX) show 9/14.  I had a bunch of friends send in emails in the last 24hrs. Now I've seen this thread.  I offered Train 3 suggestions, popping the question on stage, backstage (i dont have backstage passes though) or maybe have Train dedicate the song to my girlfriend and I

I havent heard a thing. Sent several emails. Even got on twitter and tried contacting them that way. @train
But still no response from the band at all. I heard from someone that they don't do the walk through the crowd anymore either, during "marry me".
So I'm not sure what other avenue to try.
Any ideas?

Brock I dunno.  I'm just hopin & prayin my proposal campaign (~50 friends & family) have emailed this site within the last 24hrs with the same subject will be a positive thing and not an "obsessive" thing.  I think we just gotta go into this with our hopes at 0 and if something happens, if we hear from them then it'll make a magical moment all the more. i have backup plans though.
