Ok hey soul sister was the smash hit on this album, but for me this ain't goodbye was the best song.
What was your favorite song, and why?
If It's Love was my favorite from the beginning! Then when Pat said it was like a love letter to the fans for hanging in there with them, it just made my heart melt.
Hey SOUL SISTER Ain't that Mister Mister on the Radio...stereo... the way you move ain't fair ya know!  It doesn't get any better than that!  As with most great songs, it was a bit overplayed, but still my favorite!!!

This Ain't Goodbye was my favorite too!!! I seriously listened to that song on repeat so many times... I just wish I had heard it live at one of the concerts! Pat's voice is AMAZE in that song.

And of course, Marry Me was a favorite. :)

So what is your fave Train song of all time?  In my opinion,  "When I look to the Sky" is their best song.

That's a really tough one. When I Look to the Sky is definitely up there. This Ain't Goodbye is up there for me too. I tend to prefer the slow ones because I love Pat Monahan's voice!

I think Pat's voice is amazing when he sings the cover of Rhianna's Umbrella. Another favorite of mine.

I love the entire CD!!!  I cannot help but LOVE Hey, Soul Sister-always makes me wanna sing, dance & be happy....I thought "If It's Love" was just so fun, always will think that & more, and of course, especially love that it was a love song to us fans, "Marry Me" melts my heart and fills it w/longing that someone would feel that way for me, "Parachute" instantly grabbed my heart in every way a song can cuz I always wanna be helpful to everyone, "This Ain't Goodbye" is so significant and meaningful to me as is "Words" and also "The Finish Line," and I could never hear enough of "Shake Up Christmas!"  I adore "Brick by Brick" and sing right along with "Breakfast in Bed" and "Save Me, San Francisco"--and basically, which is my favorite is a question of my mood and mindset at any given moment.....I just love and treasure the entire album, and that feeling grows each time I listen to any of the songs!  I think it was amazingly well put together--an album where every song would truly be a big hit, and where I wish more would be released.  I can apply every single one of them to my life somehow!

I love most of the songs. I GOT YOU really makes my day. My nine year old was voted homecoming queen, she is a cheerleader in a kids football league. We happened to snap a picture in the early days before the boys had their uniforms of the future king walking behind my daughter. They did not know each other, I don't think they know each other now, but he was turned left and she was looking right.  IS IT LOVE is amazing. All the music has references to normal everyday events that normal people experience such as watching American Idol, or the reality that girls from the 80's listened to Mister Mister on their stereos before mp3 players. I love the real world knowledge and thought put into the lyrics. I find them complicated and complete. But most of all the songs are happy. While we have all had our bipolar love affair, most of us are getting into bed and watching Idol. (but only late if I was out fishing LOL)

I totally agree. People have called me Virginia for years. I was more familiar with Maroon 5. Once we bought the concert tickets my guy insisted that I like Train and bought me the album so I would know the words before the concert. He also got me Matt Nathanson once Gavin Degraw was out. I have listened to these three singers daily for three months now.

When I was going to a really difficult period in my life this was the only cd I couldn't listen too. I can't really explain, but listening to it makes me feel happy. So when I was really sad, it hurted to listen to it.
I know exactly what you mean.... Me and my husband sadly lost our baby girl in July this year and we played this ain't goodbye at her funeral, beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.... We are just so grateful that train gave us the words we needed... This album also has so many happy memories attatched to each song as we played it not stop on our honeymoon last year. I really hope they tour in Europe again so as it would mean so much to us to see them live :o) in the words of abba - thank u for the music xxxxx
