Lavender and jade wings of might

tattered and torn from this plight

Iridescent hues collide

across her span of wings so wide

Delicately rising, a soft descent

Her deep lament is reticent

Immured alone upon this leaf

Healing from her solemn grief

The bark’s dark shadow celebrates

within the light she emanates
