To all those affected by Hurricane Sandy…

To all those who are still feeling the effects of Hurricane Sandy, you are in our thoughts. We can't imagine how tough the recovery must be for some of you especially in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Delaware. Hopefully everything will all be as back to normal as it can be soon. Stay safe!

Thank you, on behalf of all of my brothers and sisters here in the tri-state area as well as up and down the seaboard and even West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania, hit by blizzard effects caused by Sandy.

Before we all know it, we will feel the sun through our windows, warming our skin again.

Grateful for what I have, and how we all sing together in times of our biggest challenges as well as when in times of joy.

Saying a quiet prayer to my spirit in the sky.

This is when things like politics become just stuff, and we realize what is really important: Life, Love, Family, Friends. The rest is just whatever.

Our prayers are with them. Hope things are back to the way were before Sandy soon.

"The sky has made it back to blue, everything that's left is telling us the worst of it is through.". Just like last year after hurricane irene, I keep hearing this in my head over and over again. (In my head b/c no music playing devices have any power, and we're charging our phones in the car.) Pat, maybe you can play this song next year at wine/food festival - was so much fun this year, hard to think the place was totally submerged.

This is a great opportunity to reach out and help all those who need it.  I 100% support The American Red Cross.  They make sure that everyone has food, shelter, medical care & just about anything anyone needs.  Give Back.

My house was destroyed by two feet of seawater, I lost my furniture and most everything else. Yet I feel so lucky and blessed to have the most amazing friends and family to help us get through this. If you live in the area, help a neighbor or offer a kind word. It goes a long way. You know what? Do it no matter where you are. We can survive anything if we all look out for each other.
That said, Pat, do you have a tour bus you want to rent for my family to live in? :~) Stay strong everyone!

Many of my friend's houses were flooded, or destroyed. I was very lucky that nothing major happened to mine. To all those affected stay strong! We will revive, and we will rebuild everything better than it was before!
